As a school community, all members share in the responsibility for the success of Peoria Academy. Through contributions of time, talent and monetary contributions, the faithful commitment and support from our school community provides the high quality of education which the children deserve.
As other independent schools, the cost of educating each child is not fully covered by tuition payments to the school. Therefore, each year we ask parents to contribute to the Annual Fund and help bridge the gap between our tuition payments and the cost of educating our children. The Annual Fund dollars we receive provide our school with immediate benefits to the school by:
Any gift, large or small is appreciated. Every gift to our annual fund is tax deductible. You may donate to the school by:
Cash gifts are deductible for income tax purposes up to fifty percent of your adjusted gross income, if you itemize on your tax return.
A gift may be pledged and paid over a period of time to be determined by the donor. For the Annual Fund, pledges must be fulfilled by June 30th of each year.
Peoria Academy accepts MasterCard and Visa for gift fulfillment.
Many corporations have matching gift programs which support various non-profit organizations, including Peoria Academy. The company for which you or your spouse works may match any cash or stock gift you make – sometimes on a $2-for-$1 basis, or more. Check with your company’s business office for specifics.
